Send us your Data Horror Stories for the Data Horror week
Learn from others in the Data Horror week: 26 - 30 October 2020

It is a part of the academic culture to celebrate success and to hide things that went wrong. We - RDM Support in the Library - think it’s important to also address the uncomfortable and see what we can learn from it in order to be successful.
This is why we are planning the Data Horror Week in the end of October.
Our plan includes three main components:
1. We would like to make a collection of short stories that highlight how data management went wrong and the lessons that could be learned from it. We would like to collect stories from researchers, but we are also interested in stories highlighting the library and its collections and the opportunities it offer for research and education. Let us know if you have any stories you would like to share or if you know people who have stories
2. In addition to the horror stories, we are planning to create an escape game. We look forward to helping you all escape the data horrors.
3. Depending on the situation around COVID-19 we also hope to have an opportunity for some in-person fun with food, drinks and data management horrors.
