To encourage VU and VUmc researchers to publish in Open Access, the University Library has made arrangements with four publishers offering VU and VUmc scientists a discount on publication costs, and in some cases the possibility of publishing free of charge, in 2015.
Effective immediately, contactless payment of all financial transactions can now be made at the counter in the library on the 2nd floor of the University Main Building and the Medical Library in the VUmc Building.
The university library has alternate opening hours during the Christmas break from 24 December through 4 January.
