Library contributes to better and faster graduation

In cooperation with 6 faculties, the Library developed an information literacy programme for graduating bachelorstudents.

Perform a literature search effectively and efficiently
During a brain storm in 2011 teachers indicated that more attention should be paid training students to perform a literature search effectively, efficiently and more indepedently. Also teachers feel that students have trouble assessing information on the internet (open access or provided by the Library).

That is why the library developed a new online course on information literacy. This course can be taken individually and is 24/7 available on the library website.

At this moment 10 bachelor programmes have adopted this new online course and test their students explicitely on information literacy.
