Library goes for Open Educational Resources

Educational resources freely available.

Discover the potential of open learning materials for teaching. Look further and push your limits.

Universities and colleges increasingly make their educational materials freely available, such as presentations, seminars, or video recordings of lectures. This way, other instructors can use these resources in their education.

In the context of the Open Education Week, VU Library organizes a contest for teachers.
Test your knowledge of open learning materials and win a free video recording of your lecture.

Submission until 16 March incl. The winner will be informed in writing after 16 March. In case of more than one correct entries, the winner shall be decided by lot. No correspondence about the result can be entered into.


Open Educational Resources (OER) are teaching and learning materials freely available online for everyone to use. OER belong to the same family as Open Access and Open Source.
