Merging data using Excel and Stata

Often in research projects, it is necessary to use data from different sources. In this workshop, we discuss how you can combine different data sets into a single data set that you can use for analysis, both in Excel and Stata, and discuss common issues using hands-on examples using financial databases Compustat Global & Datastream.

EndNote enables you to create your own database, store references, maintain them and use them in your paper, easily and uniformly. In the course your learn to import large sets. The curse is illustrated with a couple of frequently used databases like Web of Science and PubMed.
