3,500 Works, 16th-19th century.
This collection of old printed matter which has a mainly theological content, originates from the library of the Columbia Theological Seminary. In addition to theological works, the collection also contains approximately one hundred books concerning the classics and about fifty geographical and natural sciences works.
Most of the books have the ex libris of Thomas Smyth (1808-1873), a Presbyterian clergyman.
